Today is my first blog post, and I have no idea what I am doing. I do know that I want to document my imperfect parenting skills as a way to save myself from going crazy.
I am a married, mother of two children... a gentle, amazing eight-year-old son, named Jackson, and an intelligent, "tornado on crack" two-year-old daughter, named Scout.
In addition to raising my two children, I work full-time as a special educator. In my "free" time, I run, read, drink Starbucks and watch any cupcake/cake reality show on TV.
